My First Day of College

My first day in college actually was a very rainy and windy day. The bad part is that I have to walk to my classes, which are all 5-10 mins away from each other. My first class was communication and my teacher gave us a nice intro about herself in the class and she let us get up and get to know each other. I also got to see and talk to some other students who have the same major as me which was kind of reassuring in a way. My second was intro to health professionals which is so far my favorite. The instructor seemed so energetic and ready to get started. That class also will hopefully help me on deciding if I want to go the athletic trainer route or the physical therapist route as well. Finding Your Gameplan

Often times during the school year I find myself and my peers in a bad mood or struggling to stay on top of all our assignments and responsibilities. Over the past year I feel I have learned more about myself and what works for me, in regards to what I need to stay in check and on top of things. I've found that procrastination is my worst enemy and even though I’d like to think I can remember all my homework, I really can’t. Making sure you use your time wisely is something I wish I would have known sooner, because looking back, I could have used the ten extra minutes I had in math class to finish my english homework or study for my PLTW test the next day. How to Balance Work, School and Physical Activities

Someone once said, “Nobody is ever too busy. If they care, they will make time”. We have all heard people say they are too busy to do this or too busy to do that, but there are 24 hours in the day to complete all the tasks you need to have done. Here are some tips on how to balance work, school, and physical activities. The question is, are you willing to sacrifice certain things in order to be more productive? To begin, write down a schedule for yourself and what would work best for you. For example, I realized that rather than working out as soon as I got off of work was not the best idea since I would not get home until 10 p.m., so I started to wake up at 5 a.m. and got my workout done ea
