Do you know the saying “with great power comes great responsibility?” Well, with great responsibility comes the need for impeccable time management skills. Before my time as a state officer, keeping up with my tasks was possible, but it sure was not done with grace or elegance. I’ll admit it, I have had my fair share of days in which I had done very little in terms of productivity, but regardless I still managed to obtain high grades in courses and accomplished my daily chores. Fortunately, becoming a state officer had caused some necessary changes to my daily routine and worked to break my bad habit of procrastination. Holiday Spirit

Jingle bells, jingle bells we are now in the month of December, meaning Christmas is right around the corner. The month of December is one of the busiest holidays out of the entire year: end of semester finals, buying Christmas presents, figuring out whose house you are going to for Christmas dinner, it is a lot to take in. I love the month of December because not only is Christmas my favorite holiday but at the Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center we host a community service project known as “Adopt A Family.” Every year each student in the Health Science class adopts a family in the community and buys Christmas presents for them.
