Hello Indiana HOSA! My name is Brayden York and I am honored to serve as your 2019-2020 State Vice President! I am a senior at Kokomo High School and a student at Kokomo Area Career Center. I was first introduced to HOSA as a sophomorethrough my anatomy teacher, Ms. Judi Townsend. I have a passion for leadership and travel which I put into work in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. After graduation, I hope to combine my passion for health and travel through studying global health and establishing women’s health programs in under-resourced areas around the world. American poet Robert Frostwrote, “I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.” I challenge all HOSA members to push themselves past their comfort level and strive to be their very best! As a state officer, I hope to foster an environment of collaboration and motivation across all Indiana HOSA chapters in order to help our members grow into successful and well-rounded individuals. I can’t wait to see what amazing things we can do together in the year to come!
