Practicing Self Affirmations
When we look at the work we produce, it is easy to focus on the negatives. You need to make sure to practice positive self-talk, also known as affirmations, in order to shift from these negative views. Telling yourself phrases such as “I am worthy” or “I am strong” helps you build up your confidence and self-love. You can easily incorporate this into your daily routine by saying three affirmations in the mirror when you wake up or in bed right before you go to sleep
Meditation and Yoga
Sometimes it is best for you to completely separate yourself from your work and daily tasks. An easy way to do this while also practicing self-care is to meditate or practice yoga. These tasks are ways in which you can mentally check out from whatever is troubling you and life and focus on your goals, intentions, and hopes!
Take Some Me Time
It can be easy to fill your plate to the point that it is overflowing with work, projects, and other responsibilities. It is important that you are leaving enough time for yourself to relax. Whether it is a set time each week or it changes each week, make sure you take out a block of time to do something purely for you. This could be time to read a book, play an instrument, try out a hobby, or another number of things. Just make sure whatever you are doing is or your enjoyment and relaxation.
